Kevin J. O’Shea is Senior Vice President for International Trade at the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA). He manages and delivers a suite of export assistance programs, including the Arizona State Trade Expansion Program (AZSTEP), the Arizona MEP ExporTech program, and directs and oversees export services provided by ACA’s trade teams in Mexico, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Taiwan and Israel.

Kevin functions as a direct liaison with federal, state, regional and local agencies, offices and departments, as well as private sector entities (companies and business chambers/associations) on economic development initiatives in the international trade and export arena. He is responsible for direct program delivery, working closely with Arizona companies on various tailored and targeted export initiatives (including market research, one-on-one export counseling and coaching, export plan development, business-to-business matchmaking, business-to-government matchmaking, international trade shows, and international trade missions). He designs and delivers export education seminars, engages in direct community outreach, and serves as a frequent presenter on export and international economic development topics at governmental, corporate and academic venues.

Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and a law degree (JD) from the University of California, Berkeley.
