What is the Arizona District Export Council?

We’re a volunteer organization made up of experienced global business professionals who are passionate about helping Arizona businesses thrive by reaching international markets. Over 60 DECs across the US operate in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service, to offer guidance and resources to enhance the export capabilities of businesses within their regions.

Generating $1.5 billion in 2023, copper mining is a cornerstone of Arizona’s economy, with the state producing over 60% of the nation’s newly mined copper.
