Brett Mecum

Brett Mecum is President of Cadmus Public Affairs, a Phoenix-based government relations firm, and Principal of Intrepid Global Strategies. He brings 15+ years of experience at the intersection of industry and government, with client work spanning technology, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, and healthcare.

He serves as Chairman of the Arizona Space Commission (its first, unanimously elected) and sits on advisory boards for Lunasonde, XRDNA, and Phantom Space Corporation. He previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Arizona Speaker of the House and Executive Director of the Arizona Republican Party.

Brett was appointed to the Arizona District Export Council by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce in 2026. He holds a Master of Global Management from Thunderbird/ASU and a Master of Science in Space Operations from Embry-Riddle.
