Alma Peralta
International Trade Specialist
Alma Peralta is a leader in international trade and economic development for Southern Arizona. She currently serves as an International Trade Specialist for the City of Tucson and previously worked as Director of Operations and International Relations for the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, promoting trade between Latin America and Arizona.
Alma has led three U.S. Department of State programs: The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, the STEM Leadership Club for Girls and the Academy for International Trade. Alma is a multilingual professional fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian, she holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Economics from the University of Arizona.
Recognized as a “40 Under 40” honoree, Alma is also a graduate of Greater Tucson Leadership and the Hispanic Leadership Institute. She attended the Global Youth Leadership Forum in Spain, an international summit addressing global challenges.
