The Arizona District Export Council invites you to join our expert-led virtual seminar “Smarter Tariff Strategies” where you will learn how to minimize your U.S. tariff exposure through duty reduction, deferral, and recovery strategies. This training is ideal for anyone involved in or impacted by international trade and cross-border transactions. Attendees may include purchasing and procurement professionals, supply chain and logistics managers, compliance officers, empowered officials, international sales and marketing team members, finance and risk management professionals, government affairs representatives, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and executives responsible for global strategy. Whether you are directly managing shipments or shaping your organization’s trade policies, this session will provide critical insights to help you build smarter, more resilient tariff strategies. Tariff and export expert Mike Allocca from Alloca Enterprises Inc. will lead the session on September 10, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm. Space is limited.

Mike Allocca
Mike went through the accelerated executive MBA Program through the University at Albany in New York and worked as a freight forwarder for ten (10) years. In 2006 Mike started his own export/import compliance consulting company under Allocca Enterprises Inc. He conducts over 100 training seminars annually across the United States and the globe. He works on a daily basis with importers and exporters conducting compliance audits, HTS & USMCA classifications, Free Trade Agreement determinations, ITAR training and registration and implementing written export & import procedures. He is a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) and a NASBITE Certified Trainer. He has sat on the board of directors of the Global Business Network in Albany, NY for two (2) years. He served on his local District Export Council (DEC) in Columbia, South Carolina for a four (4) year term. He also served four (4) years on the National District Export Council as Treasurer and Chair of the Outreach & Education Committee. He won the 2008 Trade Partner of the Year from the Tech Valley Global Business Network. He won the 2015 Presidential “E” Award winner for Export Services. He won the 2016 NASBITE International Advancing International Trade Award for the State of South Carolina. He also won the North Carolina 2021 Governors Export Award for top export partner.
