The Arizona District Export Council (AzDEC) and the U.S. Commercial Service are presenting a two half-day export compliance training for the trade community that brings federal experts directly to you.
Over two focused half-days, officers from the U.S. Census Bureau will cover regulations and filing requirements of the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), as well as how to classify your commodities using the Schedule B, and provide a thorough overview of export filing through the Automated Export System (AES) in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). Officers from the Bureau of Industry and Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Office of Foreign Assets Control will walk you through export controls and how to keep your shipments moving and your business compliant. You’ll leave knowing how to file accurately, reduce risk, and avoid the mistakes that trigger costly penalties and seizures.
